・CLAUDIA ANESらは2008年にTotal Polyphenol Content and Antioxidant Capacity of Commercially Available Tea (Camellia sinensis) in ArgentinaについてCLAUDIAらは，フェノール試薬（フォーリン-チオカルト試薬）は，10%(v/v)を，炭酸ナトリウムは，7.5%(w/v)を使用したと述べている2)。
Ganesh N. Shらは2011年にPhytochemical Screening and Estimation of Total Phenolic Content in Aegle marmelos Seedsについてと述べており、フェノール試薬の体積百分率は、10パーセントであると述べている3)。
藤田らは、2013年にFolin-Chiocalteu colorimetric analysis using a scanner for rapid determination of total polyphenol content in many test samplesについて報告し、２０％炭酸ナトリウム水溶液を使用し，スキャナーによる低コストで分析できると述べている4)。
