About CMC as a binder in the evaluation for an electric double layer capacitor


●experimental purposes

・Measurement of the CV value of the L-50 in this condition,

Anode side ... the first cycle: 1000 [μF]             Cathode side ... 1-5 cycle: 700 [μF]
                           second cycle: 800 [μF]
                           third cycle: 785 [μF]
                           fourth cycle: 770 [μF]
                           fifth cycle:755[μF]

As the purpose, usually are used in lithium titanate baked. However, since the lithium titanate is the active material, I have to try to electrochemical synthesis. In order to investigate the electrochemical properties of the negative electrode of titanium was measured current CV value.

After inverted to the cathode side, the curve approaches the +1.3[V] slope became greater.
From there to +0.8[V], but the value of the current was increased again, and we are also down from there, the last was gone up outside the measurement range. The maximum current of the cathode side was -1.4[A].
Although up to +0.48[V] was outside the measurement range of 0[V], and rises from there suddenly and reaches a point on the anode side of +0.75[V] it becomes impossible to measure a while sharply and comes to a point of +1.0[V] descent, when lowered to +0.1[A], it was the goal back to the point of the drawing to +3.1[V] a gentle curve.
